Alongside our passion for building oak structures, we’re equally eager to ensure that our work looks beautiful. Building in traditional materials demands that we adopt the appropriate design, methods, and details to perfectly harmonise the new to the existing building and the surrounding architecture. Design is crucial in everything we do; be it structural calculations or aesthetic detailing, you can rely on us to give you expert advice.

Our architectural team can visualise your ideas, either in the form of sketches or 3D digital walk-throughs. Our designs have covered everything from complete house framing to simple outbuildings, from cladding, floors, and fixtures to porches, even simple replacement beams in listed buildings – nearly every one of our projects is unique. Because oak structures can need that extra bit of care to ensure they integrate with other building processes involved, we can provide a complete project management/main contractor package that will ensure everything runs smoothly, on time, and on budget.

We refer to this service as our “turn-key service”. This gives you one point of contact for every aspect of your proposed build including the initial design and planning work right through to the colour choice of your walls. When the project is complete we simply hand over your new keys!
